Funerals

Although they are sad events, we consider it a privilege to conduct funerals.

We believe in expressing the love of God from the beginning of life – throughout its journey – and to its end.

A funeral marks the end of a person’s life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God’s keeping. This can be a quiet ceremony or a large occasion in church or crematorium in either situation we will try to meet your needs.

We all live life knowing that one day we will die, but as Christians we also believe that there is hope in life and that there is new life in Christ after death. Whatever the circumstances around someone’s passing we want to be there for you and assure you of our care and understanding. For help and support through bereavement, and also in caring for people preparing for death please contact us.

Arrangements are often made through the Funeral Director but if you wish to contact the church directly we will respond as quickly as possible.
